Puzzlr is a mobile app that helps you log and organize your physical jigsaw puzzle collection. This policy explains clearly and honestly what data we collect, why, where it lives, and what control you have over it.

Who we are

Puzzlr is an independent project built by a single person. There's no company, no investors, no marketing department. This policy reflects that: we treat your data with the same care we'd want our own treated with.

What we collect

1. Account information (optional)

Only if you choose to create an account:

• Email
• Display name
• Username
• Avatar photo (optional)

Without an account, all your data lives only on your device — nothing is uploaded.

2. Your puzzle data

• Name, brand, piece count, category, tags
• Ratings and personal notes
• Box and progress photos you take in the app
• Session times and statistics
• Scanned barcodes

3. Anonymous usage analytics

• Which screens you use and when
• Which features you tap
• App version, OS, language

We never include: puzzle names, note contents, photo contents. Just abstract events like "opened stats screen" or "completed a session".

You can disable analytics anytime from Settings → Privacy.

4. Error reports

When something crashes, we automatically capture the technical error (stack trace) to fix it. No personal data included.

Where your data lives

We use trusted third-party services:

All comply with international standards (GDPR, CCPA).

What we DON'T do

• We don't sell your data. Ever, to anyone.
• We don't share personal info with advertisers or third parties for commercial purposes.
• We don't show ads inside the app.
• We don't track what you do outside Puzzlr.
• We don't analyze the content of your photos or notes.

Your rights

You can exercise these rights at any time:

• Access your data: it's all visible in the app
• Export your collection as CSV from Settings → Data
• Delete your account and all associated data: write to puzzlrhb@gmail.com and we'll process within 7 days
• Disable analytics from Settings → Privacy
• Request corrections to any data we hold

Children

Puzzlr is intended for users 13+. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn we've received info from a child under 13, we'll delete it.

Cookies and cross-app tracking

The mobile app doesn't use cookies. It doesn't participate in cross-app advertising tracking networks (doesn't use Apple's IDFA).

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, the "Last updated" date above will reflect it. Material changes will be announced inside the app.

Jurisdiction

This policy is governed by applicable laws in your country of residence. EU users are covered by GDPR; California users by CCPA.
